About the Author
Thomas Keller, author of THE FRENCH LAUNDRY COOKBOOK, BOUCHON, UNDER PRESSURE, AD HOC AT HOME, and BOUCHON BAKERY, has six restaurants and five bakeries in the United States. He is the first and only American chef to have two Michelin Guide three-star-rated restaurants, the French Laundry and Per Se, both of which continue to rank among the best restaurants in America and the world. In 2011 he was designated a Chevalier of the French Legion of Honor, the first American male chef to be so honored. That same year, he launched Cup4Cup, the first gluten-free flour that replaces traditional all-purpose flour or whole wheat flour in any recipe, cup for cup, such that you’d never know the difference. As part of the ment’or BKB Foundation, established with chefs Jerome Bocuse and Daniel Boulud, Keller led Team USA to win silver at the 2015 Bocuse d’Or competition in Lyon, France, which was the first time the United States has ever placed on the podium.

As one would expect from the master Thomas Keller. An exquisite addition to your arsenal of knowledge and the Art of cooking.

The photography is wonderful. The fonts are beautiful. The recipes are serious and if not easy to execute, certainly well explained. It is a revelation to read this book and to see why Thomas Keller is one of the best chefs in the world. Keller talks about filtering his sauces and such and says that some of his liquids are filtered up to 20 times. I doubt that I'll be doing that very much if at all, but that's the type of detail that goes into fine dining, in what some chefs call the best restaurant in the world. Everything you need to know about Kellers creation is in here. I got this in a double set of books; the other is Keller's book about Bouchon, which is his other restaurant on the west coast. Keller explains that he wanted to avoid using the word Bistro in the other book, because it has lost its meaning in the United States. Together as a set I now have both the finest French inspired recipes and a more approachable Bouchon style of cooking as well. Lastly, if that wasn't enough, Chef Keller also gives a listing of some of his suppliers in the back of the book. Two masterpieces that I am very proud to own.

Great Cookbooks!

Beautifully written and photographed book!
Chef Keller never disappoints, he is a master at fabulous everyday and sophisticated inventive cuisine with a very creative eye form the kitchen to his cookbooks and restaurant designs. His cooking principles of locally sourced foods makes his creations that much more delicious.

Best Cookbook Set I Have Ever Owned

I am so happy with this set. As a longtime admirer of The French Laundry I was extremely excited to get my hands on a few of the recipes to try at home. Beautiful photography, inspiring stories, and purveyor featurettes set these books apart from the average cookbooks. There is so much passion within these pages, and the recipes are fantastic. If you're looking for food to impress, you can find it in The Complete Thomas Keller.
